Hutch

Well, after searching my computer I realized I don't have a "before" photo of this ragamuffin of a piece! Well, it was in poor condition upon close inspection. I stripped, sanded, primed, painted, sealed and replaced all of the hardware on this sucker until it was like new! It was white with a greyish blue backing, but then I decided it needed a little bit more character and depth so I glazed and rubbed the edges a bit before sealing this little hutch.
It won't be staying in our house though - this baby is for sale! I won't be re-doing anymore furniture to sell for a while, but I will hopefully be doing our master bedroom dressers.
(If you want to see more detail of the hutch try clicking on the photo to get a closer look)
Per request of my sister the dimensions are 73.25 (just over 6 feet) inches tall, 18 inches deep, 42.25 inches wide.

Another black dresser

BEFORE
This was an ordinary wooden dresser that had good bones and nice deep drawers that I couldn't pass up at a yard sale this summer. The only hard part was that we don't have a truck - so on top of the wagon it went! The drawers and mirror were carefully inside and strapped around our children so they wouldn't be mushed if things moved around.
This sucker was a labor of love - let me tell you. It may be simple and chic now, but it was my guinea pig of redoing dressers before it got to this completed state. It should have been done months ago - but that's okay I am still learning.
And guess what...IT'S FOR SALE!
